No one could have guessed what went on inside their marriage. They were the happiest couple friends and family knew. There was never a disagreement.
In truth, the couple was keeping an ominous secret. Brian’s life was a façade, concealing a monster. His loving wife sheltered him from exposure of his mental problems not realizing the depth of Brian’s depravity.
This psychological thriller is also a legal thriller where circumstances force a mother into the heroine role as she experiences a personal transformation battling a corrupt judge and his lover.
Based on a true story, it was cases like this serial thriller that shaped significant legal changes. Actual court transcripts and exhibits of the legal proceedings were used.
Throughout this serial, the reader follows not only the development of the criminal case but the personal transformation of the family members, their parenting and relationship styles, and the slow unraveling of their secret lives. Digging deeper, the thriller book set emphasizes the delusional psychological state of one of the main characters and the impact on others.
